This is a 1st in a series and I invite you to comment on any or all of these, they are open for debate and you can try to change my mind or support me, I would enjoy hearing from you. At the very least I would hope that these will make you think and consider taking an active part in our great country's future!
I Believe that;
1. In God We Trust or We are doomed to failure! It is the God of the Bible that
grants all men freedom.
2. the Christian Bible is the greatest textbook ever written; we (USA) should use it.
3. taking God out of the schools is what has invited in the many problems that we
have today.
4. there should be term limits for every elected office - county, city, state, or
federal.
5. any financial compensation to the Congress should be voted on by the people
not Congress.
6. A criminal should not be allowed to hold public office - Period.
7. Anyone voting for the bailout / Stimulus packages should be labeled criminals.
8. Anyone that voted for the bailout/ stimulus packages know very little about the
principles that this country was established on.
9. that in the future we should require a one year study course for all new
members wanting to be elected to government office. A test to be passed be for
you file?
10. that it is hard to tell the difference between the political party’s of today.
11. that the Founding Fathers of this great nation were conservatives.
12. That it is very hard to find a true conservative in government today, they are
few and far between.
13. Several of the folks in government that claim to be conservatives are not much
more than lukewarm liberals.
14. Abortion is murder no matter how you try to dress it up.
15. everyone should own a gun and if they did there would be less crime.
16. if Congress wants a retirement plan Congress should have to get it just like
everyone else and save for it, not decree it.
17. I believe if congress had to depend on Social Security for their retirement plan
that they would have never let it get in the shape it is in.
18. there should be random urine tests to get a check from the government, Period.
19. there should be extensive back ground checks on anyone filing to run for
public office, even incumbents.
20. Budget cuts on the hill should start with the Congress’s salaries, staff
limitations, Travel limited to back and forth from Home to Washington.
21. All foreign travel by the government suspended till economic crises is
eliminated.
22. marriage is a Christian’s God thing but homosexuality isn’t and you do not
have the right to try and pervert my religion just because you do not agree
with it. (We hate the sin, but try to Love the sinner)
23. if you do not like the way I worship that you do not have the right to disrupt my
worship. You do not have to attend my church, go find one that has your
beliefs or start one and go for it.
24. the Constitution grants us the freedom from a government ran Church.
25. I am probably not alone in most of these beliefs.
